Anupama Mohan

Dr. Anupama Mohan teaches English at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur and is the author of Utopia and the Village in South Asian Literatures (Palgrave Macmillan UK, 2012). She also edited a double-digest Special Issue for Postcolonial Text in 2019 titled “Maritime Transmodernities” that focused on Anglophone and Francophone literatures of the Indian Ocean. Anupama’s book of poetry, Twenty Odd Love Poems, was published by The Writers Workshop in 2008, and her novel, Where Mayflies Live Forever was published by Picador Pan Macmillan in 2022. Mayflies was longlisted to the JCB Prize 2023, and to the Tata Lit Fest and Atta Galata Bangalore Lit Fest 2023.

Takbeer Salati

Takbeer Salati was born and raised in Srinagar, Kashmir. She is a doctoral student working in the field of South Asian Partition Studies and is also a creative writer. Her short stories have featured in Samyukta Fiction, Muse India, Cafe Dissensus, Nether Quarterly, and Outlook, among others. She has a forthcoming essay in the edited anthology, “On Eating: A multilingual Journal of Food and Eating.” Her writing was longlisted among the best South Asian Short Story Writers 20 under 30 in The Bombay Review 2021
